Fort Worth 's & Coppell's Outstanding Teen
To become Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen, a contestant must first win a local competition, a process requiring personal commitment, hard work and talent. More than twelve thousand young women participate each year in the local and state events, culminating in the selection of 51 national finalists who vie for the Miss America's Outstanding Teen title in Dallas, TX. It only costs you $125 to compete in the Fort Worth 's / Coppell's Outstanding Teen Competition. All you need is commitment, perseverance, talent and goals!
To compete you must:
Age
Must be thirteen (13) years of age on the first day of the State Competition;
Must not be older than eighteen (18) years of age on December 31 of the year of the State competition,
Residency
Must fulfill one of the following:
Must reside in the state of competition
Be successfully enrolled in and physically attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited public or private school, or home schooled within the state of competition.
Citizenship
Must be a citizen of the United States of America

2023 Miss America & Miss America's Outstanding Teen Candidate Registration:
The 2023 Miss & Teen Candidate Registration Signup is up and running. All candidates competing for either Miss or Teen in the 2023 Season will register for the state they’re interested in.
STEP 1:
Each Candidate (Miss & Teen) will register using the following link: (Please forward the below link to any candidate interested in competing in your local competition).

STEP 2:
After a Candidate pays the $35 registration fee (Miss & Teen), the Candidate receives a receipt and the State Executive Director receives an email with the interested Candidate’s name and contact information. A candidate only pays the $35.00 registration fee once during the 2023 cycle.
Teens will pay the $35 fee to Miss America and the $125 fee to Ellis County Scholarship Org.
